Aan allen die het duet kennen en waarderen, kan ik het volgende toevoegen. Op 30 april 2012 overleed mijn echtgenote onverwacht. Tijdens de herdenkingsdienst werd haar favoriete muziek gespeeld. Boven aan de lijst stond dit duet! Toen ik het voor het eerst hoorde, moest ik erkennen dat ZIJ het goed kende, en IK niet! Krijg het altijd moeilijk als ik naar het duet luister. Anderzijds zie ik in gedachten mijn Nelleke voor me. Zij kijkt vanaf een roze wolk op mij neer en het is goed!
